We educate, empower, and advocate for people living with chronic and invisible illness — centering rare disease, women's health, and Black women's health. The world measures human worth in productivity. Chronic illness interrupts that equation. Ill Boss builds the tools, community, and frameworks to help people reclaim what illness tried to take.Who We Center

Rare disease patients — 7,000 known rare diseases, 95% with no FDA-approved treatment. Ill Boss was co-founded by a rare disease patient.

Women with chronic illness — 4 of 5 autoimmune patients are women; diagnostic delays and errors are a documented, peer-reviewed pattern.

Black women with chronic illness — lupus is 3× more prevalent in Black women; medical racism is measurable and foundational to why this organization exists.
